The French Government doesn’t do studies on the population of France. But they do put a lot of study into the different religious groups.  For example, a French government official took on the study of the Muslim population in France and sketched where they came from. And a Parisien puts all the religious groups into numbers by estimate. The French government gives full religious freedom with a small catch when it comes to excessive publicity. But as a French people, they are given all freedom of rights in regard to their religion and if one tries to change the way another believes by force the subject will have consequences. A person should commit no anger of any type against someone for them not being just like their own self, which is to say, there should be no destruction to another person’s property for having a different religion than that of oneself.                    Religious groups can sometime receive government privileges. They have three groups of servicemen protecting them, laws that give them tax privileges on their organization’s and school special rights. But in receiving these, there must be order and precision.  All government privileges and civil acts done to those that rise up against the innocent must be reported to a higher government power, and they are all documented.

The author’s point of view is simple but it can be difficult to comprehend. First of all, the use many difficult words to understand such as without giving the definition which makes part of the article confusing, as written, “anti-Semitic and “made Alliyah” to name a few. This could be directed related to their place in the government or society and to whom this was written to.

This article most likely got its sources from internet base, because there is a lot of contradictory in its work. In part of the article it speaks of full religious freedom and any resistance from haters will be dealt with. Then in another part it says the government prohibits citizens to wear religious articles in public, which is a very high standard in some people’s religions, furthermore, prisoners have prayer restrictions! The writer gives a lot of good examples of carefully documented crimes and how they were dealt with such as the June 19 incident of the racism against a Jewish family, leading to the government act on January 14, 2014.

The author seems to have a very liberal view of France and the World. They can speak of any area with optimism or pessimism and covers most of all religious status’ in France. Many statistics are given emphasizing the religious groups but it cannot be positively accurate because this article was made three years ago. It contains accurate dates though such as the 2010 law that state a person couldn’t wear a face covering in public, the 1905 law stating that the Church and government power is to no longer be connected, and has many accurate dates involving racial and anti-religion based crimes.

Overall, this article discussed whether or not the government is involved in religious affairs, and to what extent. There are contradictory sources that it used and difficult speech for some readers. For these reasons it is hard to discuss and it’s not for all audiences. It was meant for people’s awareness and outlook to the world in a new insight.
