One last Kiss.

 

 

Last night my dream of you came true

in a secret rendezvous

within my mind...

 

I felt the touch of passions kiss

the kiss I did so reminisce

within your arms...

 

And upon the canvas of my dream

I gazed into your eyes of blue,

Because,

someone loved me enough

to paint my dream

with you...

 

I wonder if you dream of me

 In the exhibit of your mind;

between here and there

a portrait of my smile,

and of elderberry hair...

 

If one night I no longer breathe

the sweet aroma

of gardenia...

 

I will quietly slip into your dream

and paint upon your lips of wine

a kiss...

and kiss you one last time.

aww i love this!! I've honestly had dreams like that. Missing someone is a painful thing, but waking up and realizing that special person is still far away is the most painful. It can be beautiful only in the dream, but waking up is gruesome and silences me.
