If I Should Falter

If I Should Falter

A Poem by SyberRose

If I should falter please forgive me

for not walking the path of perfection,

as I would gladly caress your troubled brow

if you stumbled upon my heart;

 as I carry endurance well~

I did not blink as I learned

the new found language

of bohemian desires and a new wealth of

                inspiration to discover~

So when I feel unjust ~ I'll try to remember

I wasn't born in hell,

but from the womb of understanding

upon a foolhardy night.

If you should falter just remember you are human and mistakes are human nature.
I love the vulnerability you expressed here.

Good morning Rose. Once more your beautiful words are what greet my eyes. I love the theme of this poem...

"So when I feel unjust ~ I'll try to remember

I wasn't born in hell,

but from the womb of understanding

upon a foolhardy night."

And I say thank God for that foolhardy night. Very nice my friend.

"Bohemian desires" seems many fathers see their daughter's teenage years as roadmaps to those desires. They are frightened they will lose their daughters to the outside world and the daughters will forget from whence they came. Still, they are understanding.....and forgiving. I liked this one, Rose.
