Indigo Winds

Indigo Winds

A Poem by SyberRose

The autumn leaves sing a lullaby

            and the sky is laden

with clouds of jaded secrets,

while the breath of indigo winds

whisper in the language of love~

I dream in an azure sphere of light

while two hearts resonate in time

as fate and destiny...when kismet meets,

and scent of vanilla oils shimmer

upon the body of the dark ~

While the tides splash satin and lace

            upon the sandy bed of the shore;

the harvest moon of a Cognac bright

pleases the palate of the night.

Thank you so much...I'm glad you enjoyed reading...:)
A beautiful blend of amoral and nature. The pictures you paint are lucid, sensual, in a ambiguous way (if that makes sense at all). You are very talented, I look forward to more of your work.

Great Job!

Thank you so much E. and i'm glad you like this piece...thanks for peeking in this morning...:)
Now, I'm not a real fan of free-verse poem, but this will have to do. I like, no, LOVE your tone color! I really do, it's something you'd expect in an Impressionistic orchestra, you know, lots of color. I have to say, as a romantic poet, I am looking for figurativeness in poetry, and you got it. Very well done madame.

Rose, That wonderful line 'The harvest moon of a Cognac bright, please's the palate of the night'
We have a harvest moon tonight, and I am enjoying a lovely glass of wine. How very fitting.

I could almost pour this sensory worded delight into a chalice and sip away at it all night, such is the rich, smooth, texture of it's taste !

A work of fine art once more SyberRose, splendid indeed!
