Primordial Dragons

Primordial Dragons

A Poem by Sybil J.

Beyond the fringes of promised dreamscapes,
   perfumed darkness and fractured slumber
there is but one constant, reality awakens
sleeping dragons to breathe another day

oooooooooooo awaken the dragons ... bring it says i ;)))))))))))))))))))) love this! love the moment .. the waking .. "...perfumed darkness..." exquisite!! sometimes our sleep is not so peaceful is it .. i especially appreciate the imaging in just 4 lines .. its powerful and relateable ... nice work .. i am a minimalist at heart .. tho i do tend to go on in reviewing :} Welcome to the Cafe' Sybil ... its a good place to read and write ... in my opinion

And for every sleeping dragon there is a St. George in shining armour waiting to slay it. I like the thought and image, here. Perhaps its best to keep them sleeping or chaos shall reign.

Sleeping dragons are best not woken....they can lead to an apocalypse.
