Prison Cell

Prison Cell

A Poem by Sylla Rege'ne
"

More feelings that don't matter.

"

Locked in the cage before me

The quite Malicious cell

Neither captor has made a key

So we're locked in the Ghastly Hell

Longing to touch you, longing still

Not longing to extend sentence

I haven't touched you, and I never will

Prisoner of my false pretense

Do you see what I've fallen to

Counting days, etching scars

The dusty walls holding poems of you

That I scream through the rusty bars
