Frayed

Frayed

A Poem by Sylla Rege'ne

Dancing with the mirror
Stepping on his toes
Spinning into further isolation
And not a soul knows
Yet the mirror is always here
And I am always there
Am I the mirror splitting
Or the picture beginning to tear
Either one I am
Can you keep the soul that frayed
Close to your own heart
The one who was betrayed
Here she is
Hold her close
Or her life will fall down, down, down
The very most
