A Poem by NightWatch

Nobody wants to be alone

I look at my reflection
And I see a lonely face
With eyes that want protection
In someone's warm embrace

Off I go to live my life
Working day to day
Not many know I live with strife
How hard it is to say:

"I don't want to be alone
I want someone to care
To venture with me through unknown
Fight dragons, if we dare"

Once again, the day is done
Yet nothing's really new
I lie down with the setting sun
And think,

"What do I do?"

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it XDD
this is beautiful, truly captivates the thought process of someone who feels like they're alone in the world and too scared to reach out. Just patiently waiting for it all to change. Thanks for sharing!
