Similar to "Embers Fading," this is about a friendship gone wrong.

I used to know how to reach you

but since the days

have stretched to weeks,

and the weeks

have stretched to months,

nothing is the same.

I have a feeling that when I find you,

you will be so different from the person I once knew

that I will feel this empty feeling consume me

all
over
again.
