Affectionate Abcess

Affectionate Abcess

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

Written when I met a new friend but my fear of losing her like many others held strong.

"

I'd do anything for you;

for that smile,
for that laugh,
for that love.

Let's stay friends for a while, okay?
And when you leave,
do me one favor:
tell me what I did
to deserve to lose your affection.
I will excise it from me
like an infected, swelling abscess.

That's all I ask of you, girl.
