The word skyscraper often carries a connotation of pride and achievement. The skyscraper is a modern expression of the age-old symbol of the world center.

 

You wait in the background

 

I feel your presence

at night is your image

in dreams are your footprints

and days pass too quickly

 

a kiss would tell

 

and bring in the sunlight

and  warm my heart

and bring peace to our souls

and destroy the building

 

so I will tell  you to go

 

and finish construction

build upon the foundation

then add one more lie

to get by
