Rafflesia - Fear of Infringement - an Acrostic

Rafflesia - Fear of Infringement - an Acrostic

A Poem by Titus
"

Rafflesia is more of a fascinating flower, than a favourite, if you can call it one? It's like me and spiders, I wouldn't dare go near them, but I am fascinated by them nonetheless.

"

Raflesis arnoldii, The largest plant on earth

Reminding me where life meets death, foreseeing

As futures go, what seems humongous, that being,

Fantasy, tho’ within the boundaries this forbidden;

Fear, I ask! What is to come of me, alas, if hidden?

Like if wilderness were waiting, above me a portal,

Exhumes even further though to think an immortal.

Soon will be to resurrect all imbibe and supplement

Internal means to an exquisite nature left by recent

Anonymity, what myth is this attainment to reveal?

As arisen, should it encourage soothing as to appeal

Rejuvenated, when indeed what is led by suspicion;

Nothing on this earth deems to rectify, this addition

Overwhelming stature with this waft, a strong scent,

Leaves the unpleasant odour as if death’s abatement

Defying all whereabouts what is left - is now behind -

Inspiring mankind to this gargantuan matter, to find,

To have life waiting beyond the fear of infringement.
