Snow

My favorite season of the year is winter.

In the distance

Through the day break

Cold and still

Snowy benches

Through the trees

Shimmering flakes of white

Like crystal beads

Floating through the air

From a distance

In the mist

Mountain sides covered

A blanket of white

Around and around

The valleys so wide 

Snowy slopes

Wondering through

The evergreen land

Hollowing winds

Against our strive

Cabins setting

In the distance

With snow

Drifted so high

Warm and cozy

To carry us through

The night
