Flames

The flames in my heart have been dulled
I'm running from you but I don't seem to be going anywhere
I wish I could've walked away when I met you
But now I'm wishing upon a star to get as far away from you as possible

The flames go out instantaneously
My whole world darkened as the shadows of the night approach me. I can't see where I'm going because I'm blinded by an evil darkness that won't leave my head. I keep running but

I'm not getting anywhere
I talk to the moon in hopes that your on the other side
Trying to talk to me. But I know it's too good to be true
I have to let go before it's too late.

Hoping that I can find a way to leave and never come back
Forget about everything that's happened
Hoping you'll forget about me and never look back
Keep running from me like you always have been

Don't look back waiting for me to catch up because I won't be there. I'm never coming back. There's no such thing as superman and no such thing as me
Keep running and don't stop. Don't look back for me.

Forget all the good and the bad memories they're just painful
Keep living on like nothing ever happened and never remember me. As the flames die down I'm slowly running from you.
