A Poem by Tiffany K Charles

So afraid to open up and tell you just how I feel. Knowing that you can't be mine. Totally and completely. So profound and yet so complex. Loving you is like nothing ever yet discovered. Too hard, but I love a challenge. And therefore, I'm in love with you. in love so strong like a hurricane bound to your heart. Wrap me in your warm embrace and smother me in your soul. Kiss me and make my body quiver. Shatter my doubts and fears. Dissolve my insecurities and connect this broken heart once again, for there is nothing like wholesome love. Tempting as it maybe, firmly against. This can manifest more than what the eye can see, rightfully not mine at every angle, wanting you more and more. A true love's kiss is everlasting as my heart walks out the door.

This isn't really a poem at all in my eyes.
Its not written out like a poem.
It rhymes in some parts but not in others, like the bottom part rhymes but the rest doesn't really.
I think it should all rhyme, or all not rhyme, not half and half.
Also there is no repeated lines either, nothing to make it sound like a poem.
Although I didn't say its not good because that's simply not true.

This has tons of feeling and depth.
So much meaning and emotion.
There is sadness in this piece and such longing.
I really enjoyed the storyline.
Keep writing :)

A beautiful stream of conscious thoughts in poetic prose. One can tell these words simply flowed from your mind, through your fingers and onto the screen, effortlessly. I really love the emotion in this and the form you used to convey it. Poetry is not always meant to be kept in a box. Bravo!!

Age teaches us. Don't show or tell the people near everything.
"so afraid to open up and tell you just how I feel. knowing that you can't be mines."
I told the kids. Some secrets must lay dead. Some actions don't bring peace when reopened. I like the thoughts and honest emotions in the words. Thank you Tiffany for sharing the amazing poetry and thoughts.
