Your Baby is Fat

Your Baby is Fat

A Poem by TTBoy28

Choices bar

 Choices scar

some are even above par

Opposites attract

 as a matter of fact

more powerful than a shooting star

Genes are mean

 though fertile are green

something lies inside

Ready to grab

 or shall I say stab

a cell that hangs on for the ride

Pretty is

 And beauty flaws

standing still just because

Some cheat life

 others wake to strife

smacked around with tiger paws

The signs are there

with hope to despair

That it will skip this generation

But trickery in a bottle

 is a lie full throttle

denial of all veneration

Great metaphors and parallels to describe life in poetic grace. This covers a wide area of expertise in observation TT...There is also nothing as passionate as forbidden love...(just thought I'd throw that one in for the hell of it)
Well done my friend.

.
. the rhyming pattern in the rendition is absolutely brilliant ... works beautifully ... your thoughts and observations are remarkable as always ... but the last three lines are particularly hard hitting ... that image is just unforgettable ...
