If you were standing beside me

If you were standing beside me

A Poem by Tai Chi Italy
"

A love poem

"

I would be afraid of nothing.

Nothing could hurt me.

I would hold the world on its axis

I would feel the proudest woman on gods earth.

I would hold you tight

I would wrap myself around you every single night.

I would love you to sleep

I would enfold you and hold you deep within my arms.

If you were standing beside me

I would turn, kiss you and forever

Smile, because you are mine at last

And I would never wish again for the end of pain

Because having you beside me,

I would never be afraid.

Your love confounds me.  Your love surrounds me.

Your love is all I need.  Your love is the way

Nothing could hurt me.  Your love

All the rest of my days….smiling….loving you

In so many different ways…..

oh my, romantic indeed and I'm not usually moved by love poems......that being said, I'm lucky enough to be living this poem. But you have encapsulated it so well here.
