Reflections on Depression.

Reflections on Depression.

A Poem by Mark
"

Sometimes you can't just say it, and have to swallow everything.

"
I stood there, white face
A lot of emotions waving
They are endless.

I'm not strange to this feeling,
they invade my head
something I've been dealing
since a lot of time ago
nothing to care
nothing to hear
because in the end,
it won't disappear.

Author's Note

Mark
This came into my mind and decided to publish it here. I had a lot of time without writing that it makes me really happy to know that I didn't loose my inspiration. Addressing a important issue, Depression is a mental illness that often get people dismissed as 'lazy' or that 'are not trying enough'. As a sufferer of this illnes myself, I understand the struggles and wish that there would be more awareness and that people could be more understanding. I hope you like it, I guess this is one of my first tries in writing poetry.
