Hyperlapse

Hyperlapse

A Poem by Tam Warink
"

Thoughts upon technology and the unfolding flower.

"

Awaken oh flowers of morning.
Help me forget that incessant snoring,
Of evenings slumber, now just past,
While coffee brews within the flask.
A face reflected. Mine?
I am aghast!

Are you sure this is about "Thoughts upon technology and the unfolding flower."

I surely think it is more about being bored and even bored with self.
Hmm....
Serves you right, having coffee with no Flowers. Why you didn't pour me any?
Why would a flower share your morning without coffee?
For what I ask? So when we both look into the flask we both see aghast?

How odd? I find that coffee usually makes everything and everyone look better. Save the children; give me coffee. Witty ditty, here. Mr. Warink

Thank you, Mr. Boffin.
You need to get to the coffee sooner Tam, life's little quirks are so much more receptive then, at least you live longer than those flowers bloom, they only get a season, pretty or not...

Oh, mornings can be so startling! Some days, it seems there's a stranger looking back at me from the mirror. Great poem.

You might like my poem, "Sweet Addiction" which is about the way I face those startling mornings! :D
