My Once Perfect Heart

I gave you my heart not yesterday or the day before

I gave you my heart a long time ago

But you don't care, and you never have

You lied and you tricked me

With your fake feelings

You never really ever loved me

You only cared about yourself

You never loved me

I was caught unprepared

Now my heart bleeds

The once perfect stitching

Now ripped out and destroyed

My heart bleeding in an imperfect balance

You can still see the scars of past stabbing

And past shootings it has taken

You can still see the marks left behind

After so many have stepped on it and walked all over it

So many Scars, So many Wounds that have healed

But they only healed because someone came along

And stitched them together and helped nurture it back

But now thanks to you

One more Scar appears and this time

This time i don't think it will heal as easily

This time i think you have inflicted
