The Ocean To Me

To me the ocean
Is serenity
It's loud and rough
With a quiet beauty

It keeps me calm
Speaks to my soul
It lets me in
But never lets me go

Weightless and free
I swim with ease
Because I am a mermaid
My heart is the sea

To me the ocean
Is my home
And though I may leave it
I'm never alone

I keep it inside
Deep in my heart
So wherever I go
We're never apart

To me the ocean
Is my heart and soul
It's all that I love
And all that I know
