Forget

Forget it all is what they tell me.
Forget her she treated you wrong they say.
Forget him he was never your real friend they say.
Forget and move on it is what you deserve they say.
But I still have not forgotten.

I still have not forgotten that she did love me at one point.
I still have not forgotten that he was my friend at one point.
I still have not forgotten that I loved her at one point, and I still do.
I still have not forgotten that I loved him like a brother but I'm not sure if I still do.
But I have forgetten a small portion of pain they have have caused me.
Is this a start? I am not sure but I hope that I shall one day forget that this has happened.

And yet I still remember every detail as bright as day.
She lied I can not forget.
He lied and I shall never forget.
I did wrong yes, but I corrected my mistake.
But why couldn't you fix yours?
I'm haunted by the memories of those wonderful nights we shared.
But yet, I would still love to forget.
