Beginnings

A short poem I Wrote based on a theme beginnings that my home room advisor gave to me.

Beginnings
I started and stopped because I wanted to start fresh,
but is that the beginning?
Time waits for no one so there's no starting over
just getting closer to the end.
So how do I start the middle?
or should the middle lye extinct because
time passed and I was rejuvenated?
or should the middle be everything in between?
but I never got there...
How can I know whats in between when I never even
found out what was next,
because I started and I stopped
because I wanted a fresh start.
But I never made it to next, and
the end is my awaiting death,
so tell me...
How do I start my beginning
without abducting my end?

This poem had no specific order or rhythm I just went along as it came to me.I am open to ideas and opinions so feel free to give me feedback.

interesting theme. presented somewhat haphazardly. But yiou have the basis for something exceptional if you work on it.May I suggest you get a good source book and study meter Miller Williams patterns of poetry id one I often recommend and indeed still use myself ivor ala poeticpiers

In my opinion there no specific order in poetry while some will say there is. as long as it comes from the heart to me that's poetry and here I see that's exactly what you've done, poetry is always open to interpretation and the beauty of it is left to the Reader. Great job, keep on writing.
