Blessings of Christmas

'bout Christmas !!

Christmas is a time when the world unites in peace

to evoke the savior ;the messiah ;the apostle

some rejoice the heavenly birth ,

some mourn over the crucifixion

it’s a season of  generosity and allocation

 

Christmas is  the time of the year
When desires and dreams are contented with queer

A time of magic and wonder;

when the angels chant

showering their blessing with splendor

when  the grieves and cares are driven away

 

 

Christmas arrives with a knock of pleasures

with embellished  cities and  decorations

with the snow -drenched Christmas trees

the grinning snowman about the yard

dressed with a hat and a scarf

socks awaiting bequest

watching for Santa to come addressed

the Christmas music and caroling

wild and sweet ,The words repeat

and all that blazing lighting

I like this piece because of how it captures virtually every aspect of the holiday spirit: that includes the religious, sentimental, and materialistic parts of it. I especially enjoyed the second stanza because of its heart-warming descriptions ... the line "showering their blessing with splendor" was my favorite ... it put a lovely image in my mind.

As for the third stanza, I like how it describes the somewhat cliche aspects of Christmas without sounding redundant and unoriginal. The first line of that stanza grabbed my attention, and the rest of the piece kept me reading. Bravo
