Put your head down

And know I love you

Dream the dreams

that make you smile

Slay the monsters

Befriend the demons

For we all have them

at night time

Rescue the maidens

And find the treasure

Accompanied by a fairy

And in the moonbeams

that lay on your face

Sleep in peace my child

And know I love you

This seems like it was written for a child going to bed. It's the sort of thing that (if I ever have any!) I will tell my children before they go to sleep. Gorgeous.
