Not Here, Not Now

Not Here, Not Now

A Poem by Tracie D'Angelo

"

Not here, not now

Go away

Not here, not now

Stay away

This is my corner

and the walls on either side shelter me

While my face presses close to the cool plaster

Not here, not now

Don’t look in my eyes

‘Cas you may see

Don’t talk to me

I can’t...I don’t want to hear you anymore

My back is only what you’ll see

Please don’t touch me

Not here, not now

I feel like that too sometimes. I really like all these poems. They capture real life in amazing words.
