Falling Apart

Falling Apart

A Poem by T. Edana Talbott

If you wanna change me,
You can’t, I’m unchangeable.

If you wanna save me,
You can try, but I’m unsaveable.

‘Cause I won’t force you to try and see,
My reason for being me.

Just don’t speak too loudly,
I enjoy the silence.
I want to remember the things I’ve done,
The things I’ve seen.

You don’t need to stay, you don’t need me anyways.
I’m falling apart, there’s nothing that can be done.
It’s time that I be gone.

Different faces seen everyday,
None of them are ever the same.

We come and go,
Don’t even know,
What’s on their minds.

I don’t even know, what’s on my mind.

You don’t need to stay, you don’t need me anyways.
I’m falling apart, there’s nothing that can be done.
It’s time that I be gone.

If I needed your help I would’ve called your name.
Go! Cause I can’t and won’t ever change,
No I cannot be saved...

Leave me, you never wanted to stay.
There’s nothing left to say.

When I’m falling apart,
It’s best you go your own way.
