Faith You've Lost

Faith You've Lost

A Poem by T. Edana Talbott

The faith you had, a thing so strong,
Has left us here and all is wrong.

It vanished like a shadow in the night,
You let it slip away.
You didn't try and fight.

This change, a thing I refused to see,
 Has left me new,
And feeling green.

It spurred one morning with a brilliant shine,
I embrace it now, because it is only mine.
