Wind Chimes

Wind Chimes

A Poem by T. Edana Talbott

Wind chimes from different homes.
Playing melodies as the wind,
Of today blows...

Whispers with the ghosts at night.
Lulls the neighborhood to sleep,
In sheets soft and tight…

Reaching for the breeze that eludes them.
Their beauty enhanced by their composer,
The wind whom spurs each anthem...

Wind chimes along our home.
Playing songs so sweetly,
That I hum with in my quiet melancholy...
