Ripped wings

Ripped wings

A Poem by Sophles

Your kind virtue pressed on my heart
your heart over flowed with self satisfaction
i was blinded by the quick succession of events
you hurried me to a place of serenity
no language could describe my love
i had wandered like an evil spirit
for 5 days
when you picked me up
gave my life meaning
i was conscience but i wasn't alive
i used you to fill a gap
a replacement is all you'll ever be
you broke my already fragile mind
heart, soul and self
you took me straight from heaven
to hell, every time we spoke
words were lost
once my angel, now my bane
you changed from a virtuous kindred spirit
to a attention seeking drug taking w***e
once you have been labelled an angel
your wings can easily be ripped off
once you have been labelled a demon
you'll stay in hell forever...
