A Crystal Clear Morning

A Crystal Clear Morning

A Poem by Tenebrousoul

Look into the face of the stranger,
eyes upon you, taking in the strange and new.
The eyes of a fallen angel,
I'm here now, what would you like me to do?

Can I lay this kiss across your cheek?
Can I leave this fractured heart in your hands?
It beats on my sleeve, for all to see,
Telling me to make my stand.

Look into the eyes of a lover,
hope and joy so evident,
I'm lucky, I know,
You're heaven sent.

Can I take your hand into mine?
Can I be the one you you come to, when you feel you have to run?
Can I be your lover?
Can we walk together into the setting sun?

This is a sweet poem. At least that's how it came across to me. :) It kind of has a warm and reassuring feeling to it. Gah, it's so great!
Ohhhhh library! You have a new poem to shelve! ;D

Such heart felt beauty :) The directness sheltered with fragile questioning is wonderful here, a beautiful poem that makes the reader feel moved and thoughtful :) xoxo
