CHICAGO LIKE.

CHICAGO LIKE.

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

SOUNDS FROM THE OFFICE LIKE CHICAGO.

"

In the last
two or three weeks
I’ve noticed

an increase
in the number
of sirens blazing

passed the office.
Horsham
is turning

into Chicago,
the city,
not the musical,

that would
just be weird,
people walking around

with their jazz hands.
If you came up to me
& started doing

the jazz hands,
I’d give you
that look

which says
"Dude,
what are

you doing?
People
are watching!"
