FROM THE START.

FROM THE START.

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

ON HEARING HALF A CONVERSATION

"

When you catch
the end

of a conversation
which ends...

"he doesn't know
whether he's

an Arthur
or a Martha"...

you can't help
but feel

you've missed out
on a good one

& wish
that you'd

paid more attention
from the start.

This is so very insightful. The observation, the wondering, is captured perfectly and the touch of humour adds immensely to the readers enjoyment.

Thirty is far too young, God bless you and your family.

Beccy.
