BLOW HIM OUT.

BLOW HIM OUT.

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

A MAN AND HIS EX GIRLFRIEND AND HER NEW GUY

"

Every time I see him
I have to have
a good bath
she said to Benny

why's that?
he asked

well he's all over me
like a rash
and I have to wash up
afterwards it's not that
I don't like him
because I do
it's just that he
is too much at once
if only he came
in small packages
she said

Benny watched her talk
he didn't know
the guy she was with
after all what was it
to him who she saw
or went with
(he'd been with
her once)

he gets in my hair
and in my mind
and his hands
are everywhere
and he breathes
all over me
and although he's
good looking
and smells ok
he is too much
she said

Benny watched her
he had no desire
for her anymore
that was long past
but who the guy was
fascinated him
as if they'd both
climbed a high mountain
and both made
the effort to reach
the top
and the feeling
was one big thrill

I may just have to
blow him out
she said
having dried
and dressed
and sat on her bed.
