Dov'è la luce adesso?

Where is the light now?

is this darkness all 

that is left to us?

The silent answer 

echoed down dark halls 

over battlefields 

through the alleyways

of despondently.

Where now is the light?

just this darkness now

to invade being

to prevent us seeing?

The noise of silence 

throughout the cold world 

the weak forsaken 

dying abandoned 

and us sitting here 

not listening now 

pretending all's well 

on the edge of hell.
