Loose ends

Loose ends

A Poem by Tea

He was like a wave she wanted to climb

She was the light in the room, red and motionless

Add some smoke to the scenery because

in hand was cigarette and rose

He wanted her levitating waist under his palms

and her breath on his soul

She had red hair, to match the way she made

him feel

Her fingertips went up and down the seam

of the wall, and then she was no longer over there

She was right here, on top of him,

undressed and sumptuous

Screaming for his clutch on her body

And suddenly his beautiful soul was

already inside her,

penetrating her entire definition of intimacy
