Pain

Pain

A Poem by The-Mushra
"

Part 2 in the series

"
The pain he feels is like none other
almost like when he lost his brother
it attacks his heart and makes him fall to his knees
he is ready to give up and can only say "please,
stop my pain, my suffering I'm done
this is it I thought my trial would be fun"
death looked him in the eye and laughed
he looked away and said "at last,
someone who knows his limits and when he is finished
a fitting replacement for the one who has diminished"
death grabbed him by the hand and smiled
the boy who lost it all had finished his trial
death had chosen him for a reason
because he lost it all and and still had no treason,
in his heart, mind, or soul
a fitting end for the one with eyes of coal
