Bleeding soul

Bleeding soul

A Poem by Vincent Maltese

Here my soul lay bleeding

Wounded in the dirt

I cant stand the screams

I cant stand the hurt

This mask conceals me perfectly

And hides my truest lies

To allow no one to see in me

The battles that rage inside.

I'll tap my cane, and limp along

A Shadow, Wandering by.

And no one will ask about the tears

Or the pain held deep inside
