Nerves

A poem I wrote about admitting ones feelings for someone, once again based off an actual event. This was written around the same time as Confusion.

My heart races
Inching closer and closer
Its coming
The question I've been running from
It's not the question I fear, but the answer
I'm overheating now
Getting scared
Some would call it useless fear
But it comes anyways
Time to answer
I pause for a minute, gather my thoughts
And say
