I once had a little brother

I once had a little brother

A Poem by Rubein Geterminah
"

Long poem

"
I once had a little brother,
Born in the wild nineties
But couldn't be me but on mother
So he couldn't be among the mighties
A complete novice to Eden.

He wept every now and then
In agony, unwilling to accept
The world, the world our clouded den
Was not for milk suckers;
But bone eaters!

Trials and tribulations you must withstand
With quicken mind to understand
That every day won't be sunny;
Rainey days will come without a penny
In your sachet to buy something to munch.

Wake up and be a man!
Don't always depend on ma'm
Someone must call you father,
But the more further
He went from me.

Now in lonely company I stand
Many days pass none to hold my hands
As senior & junior, my eyes darkened with deep
Lacrines in thought of where he's asleep
But must wake and eat by this curse all animates bear.

Author's Note

Rubein Geterminah
Death comes for all humans.
But lose someone dear to you is not easy to get over.
My younger brother memories surfaced to me many days after his departure.
I could feel the loneliness without a little brother to keep company.
So in later years as a poet, his memories reflected while I was writing poetry.
So I composed these lines to his memories
