Was the devil black?

Was the devil black?

A Poem by Rubein Geterminah
"

Many portraits of the devil presents him as a black man.

"
Was the devil black?
Then why his brethren not?
He was a second pointer in time
Before that mighty angel threw
Him by his mighty blow.

Was Old Nick dimmed?
Then why his company that fell from grace
Not? Or is it dye is sinister
Or a mere artist perception
Of visual art?

Was Beelzebub a negro
From Ethiopia? Or is it envy
That makes him a linkage to the servant of servants race?
A seared race by Paethon's destruction of our side?

Was the Accuser of the brethren darked?
Then why he's still a part of the congregation
Of the Most High? Why couldn't he right
On the Darked Child dwell?

Then black is nothing to fear.
Then death and hell not our lot.
Then darkness not our foe
For who been to heaven
To show me the coloration of the Most High?
