Are you coming?

Are you coming?

A Poem by Rubein Geterminah
"

Longingness, long distance and oneness.

"
By the c**k’s alarm am up doing
Setting things orderly before going
Away, yes away with thoughts
“She's coming home”. So my gut
During the day fastens waiting;
Waiting no food for biting
Evening Stars bring me home
With no sound of you in this room
Are you coming?

At night I twist in bed on the pillows
Folding them in my arms, unable to swallow
My saliva; dreaming about us glued
Like bundled wood
Knitted by firewood gatherers, or won't you come
To this solitary home
Where transformation’s taken? My face
Keep looking on the road to get kiss
But no signal; are you coming?

Author's Note

Rubein Geterminah
The speaker in loneliness expects the traveled partner return but it seems far from reality.
