It's been quite a while, but I have returned!

It's been quite a while

I have been waiting for this moment

The thrill of writing

To speak freely once again

My heart has been yearning for this

To let it speak its mind

I've been through so much

But I've finally gotten a break

My mind can rest

Body relax

Eyes brighten 

Smile become full

Welcome me back with open arms

It must have been strange

My leave was sudden

But do not fear

There is that moment in our lives

Where we slip

Fall into a deep hole

And are unable to escape

I am one of them

I escape

But I shall soon return

Until then, I shall thrive
