Forever Broken

As a child I had a heart
Full, complete, and solid
As I grew it divided out
Family, friends, pets, and sports
But along came a time when a nightmare struck
It tore a hole deep in my heart
It shattered my world and brought me to my knees
It turn my world inside down and threw it in chaos
I lost a piece of me, it left me empty inside
Hollow and cold, I went though life
Till the day I met you
I thought I had healed over the time
I thought I was better so I gave you what I had
Then you broke it
It was then I fell to my knees
Then I realized I wasn't as fixed as I thought
Infact that hole never left but just grew bigger
Foreve broken is what I've be condemned to
Unable to love cause there's nothing left to take
I gave you what remained and you lost it
Loseing myself I lost you
Paranoia sentenced us to death
All because I am
