I love trauma!

I guess is a weird thing to say at 3 AM after sitting around with friends and dumping all of ours on each other.

But,

It’s true!

It’s awesome…kinda.

Yes it sucks to have gone through and I wish it never happened to me or anyone else i care for.

But it’s made me and everyone I truly care about who we are today.

Its the building block for great stories.

And yes we may not be the most stable people; But we are the ones you can always go to with no fear of judgment.

Life is pain.

But with pain comes understanding.

And with understanding comes empathy.

Especially when you can see the same agony you feel reflected in another.

So yes, I LOVE TRAUMA.

Because without it I wouldn't be who I am today.

And even if I could go back I wouldn't change a damn thing.
