For some, love comes easy

For some, true love prevails 

For some, love is art

A canvas that never fails

In mind, we’re all capable of understanding love

The light and the dark, understanding what it does 

It gives us strength and courage to face the fears deep within

When the walls are closing in and hope is running thin

Love is a force that can play tricks on the mind

Confusing all we know is real, leaving us blind

But I see you, for who you are, not for what you could be

When I look into your eyes I see exactly who you should be

The girl who changed my life with smile and her laugh

Who appreciates good beer, whether bottled or draft

The math is simple, there’s no one else who fits my equation 

Although it’s true you’ve also mastered the art of evasion

I can speak all day on how your beauty affects me

But the physical is not the only beauty that I see
