A Poem by Diamond Dunbar

Dark days and loud nights.

Hollering at the top of my lungs "DEAR FATHER, IM TOO YOUNG!"

This pain that I bear can not go away over night.

The hurt that I've discovered was enough to change me in a day.

So I sit and wonder when does it end?

I've blown in every direction, joining forces with the wind.

Only to return to start because I let the wrong people in.

Only to return to start because I thought I had it in the end.

I've blown in every direction, joining forces with the wind.

So I sit and wonder when does it end?

The hurt that I've discovered was enough to change me in a day.

This pain that I bear can not go away over night.

Hollering at the top of my lungs "DEAR FATHER, IM TOO YOUNG!"

Loud days and dark nights.
