Last Lover Mistakes

Last Lover Mistakes

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar

When you dealing with a heart you didn't break.

And you're not so sure how much more you can take.

So you continue the journey hoping the victory is on your side.

Constantly wondering am I loving them right?

Am I consoling them right?

Am I holding you tight?

Am I being too rough?

Am I doing too much or am I not doing enough?

Let's not suffer because of your last lover mistakes.

It's not my fault they decided not to stay.

I can't help rekindle those ties that you dread to say.

Don't you realize conditional love is what jacked you up in the first place?

You going against me because what I can make you feel and you don't want to lose control yourself fr.

So you pretend it ain't real and I pretend you don't exist.

You aren't the only one with a broken heart that wants to be fixed.

Let's not suffer because of the last lovers mistake.

Ah, and what good is living yesterday? If next week comes, youre still stuck in the day that was buried, life goes on doesn't it? Keep at it girl, I like it
