Blank Stare

Blank Stare

A Poem by TheElements
"

A world of grey, with suppressed emotions

"
The oppression
The suppression
Suffocates.
Glimpses of the light,
Thoughts to be sought after
Whisk away into a gentle wind.
Yet the wind is not.
It is grey
The world is grey
The eyes are grey,
Never wavering,
Out of focus.
~
It is Dawn
It is Night
Yet the colors remain
The same.

This is a good poem. In life most of us feel this void inside of us at some point in our lives. We look for things to feel this void but truth is only we can fill this void by believing in ourselves and trying to be the best we can be but mostly becoming ourselves and accepting who we are. This has great emotion and really good wording. Thank you for sharing

You really got the emotion of this out beautifully even in amongst all the grey. I hope of splash of color returns :)
