Outside looking in

A Hanging Chair in the Distance

The chains Creaking and howling.

Everything Feels so distant

The Snow and Cold is overpowering

I Found my way to the Window

The light cascading out

Pearing in, as i'm in Limbo

My Vision Sees, happiness throughout

Happiness  and People filled with hope

Hugs, Fun, Warmth and Cheer

As it sit at the stoep

Everything so Cloudy, So unclear

As the storm rages

The snow Keeps pounding

The Snow on my Shoulders, Weighted

The Quiet is Resounding

The Eye’s Close

The Tears Come

Shivering Wet Clothes

What have i become?

As my eyes Awaken

My friends stand by my Side

I was mistaken

The Wipe the Tears from my Eyes

You can always stand strong

With those you Care about

“Come Along”

Friends help you Breakout

You are never

On the Outside looking in.

this is a great poem, it is trying to tell everyone that you are not alone in this world, there are people who will always be by your side, stay with you when the world has turn its back against you, there is always someone who will be by your side on your darkest side and never forget that no man is an island. great job i love it, thank you for sharing your poem with us
